Clubbed Volume One Mixed by Judge Jules

Featuring current club/DJ favourites such as Cevin Fisher’s ‘Love you Some More’ and X-Press 2’s ‘Muzikizum’. One track that stands out has to be Blaze’s ‘My Beat’ which has been given the Jan Driver touch. “Ask yourself, can you dance to my beat?” Raising it further is Julian Liberator’s ‘Funky’ and DJ Dan’s Needle Damage. This is when the banging basslines really kick off..

A bit of tech-house madness with Utah Saints’ Lost vagueness sampling The Pretenders’ ‘I Go To Sleep’ before engaging into breaks with JDS ‘Nine Ways’ and Warrior’s ‘Warrior’. House. Tech-house. Breaks. A truly eclectic mix for disc one alone.

Disc Two starts off with a high with a rampaging track threatening to tear up any room. Mauro Picotto’s ‘Baguette/Ultimahora Ibiza’. Not to be out done, it is followed by Hi-Gate’s (a.k.a Judge Jules and Paul Masterson) ‘You And Me’. Hard house and trance is the order for this side of the mix. Bordering on cheese factor is ‘The Laugh’ which uses a sampling of a little child’s giggling. But surely this is the one that will get your hands in the air, it is that infectious. Dave Kane’s ‘Clarkeness’, Riva’s Stringer and Jan Johnston give add a progressive touch to the mix.

‘The Video Diaries’ is a treat, compiling short clips of some of Judge Jules DJ sets in various clubs such as The Cross, God’s Kitchen and Gatecrasher. It is a hoot to watch in fast forward too!
