Disc one presents a mixture of house, garage and trance music. Mojolators warm up the ride with Camilla’s soulful vocals on ‘Drifiting’. Driving it up a notch is the massive kick drum and guitar riff driven rhythms of Felix Da Housecat’s latest offering, ‘Silver Screen’. Don’t forget it is all about the groove too. Sono’s ‘Keep Control’, X-Press 2’s ‘Muzikizum’. We just can’t get enough of Blaze’s ‘My Beat’. Once again, the Jan Driver remix beckons. The mix gets harder as it kicks in with ‘Wack Ass M.F.’, sampling Jaydee’s ‘Plastic Dreams’. On a trance slant, we are treated to James Holden’s unreleased ‘One For You’ sitting comfortably amongst current favourites such as Sister Bliss’s ‘Deliver Me’, Jan Johnston’s Flesh and Airheadz’s ‘Stanley’.

Sample laden ‘The Ladyboy Is Mine’ opens disc two, disco house pushes through. Hit of 2000, ‘Touch Me’ proofs its strength by being part of summer 2001. You just can’t get too sick of it can you? Ben Shaw’s ‘So Strong’ proves to be just that with its progressive vibes and vocals by Adele Holness. Little has been mentioned of breakbeat has been said in recent times but if Plump Djs have anything to do with it, all that’s history. Their remix of Orbital’s Funny Break is just hard and funky. The rest of the mix combines hard house and hard trance. DJ Dan’s ‘Needle Damage’ gets a rub over by DJ Elite. Sound De-zign’s ‘Happiness’ is almost manic. Not enough? Go ‘Berzerk’ with Knuckleheadz.
