2001:: A NEW BEGINNING (P.O.D. MUSIC) Mixed by DJ Hardware

Does Canada exist on the dance music map? DJ Hardware is here to prove it should be. There is no warm-up to this two disc progresive trance compilation. Mixed ‘live’, most of the songs are kept in their entirety which allows for some appreciation. The mix is nothing less than smooth.

Disc one opens with a high energy ‘Psyhomateus’ by Manhattan. The mix maintains its harder influence with a hint of dark vibes in DJ Nukem Vs.c Chab’s ‘Shiva’. A trance favourite for sure. Not often is an artiste featured twice in a single compilation. Here, Natious gets three cuts to its name. The uplifting sounds of ‘Amber’ and ‘Thrust 1’ feature on the first disc.

Continuing in the same progressive vein,  Jaya leads the ‘Excursion’. Tarrentalla V. Redanka’s mix of ‘Diskostatic’ with its vocals and synths is simply engaging. Mara’s haunting ‘Fall From Grace’ sets the tone for a dark progressive mix. Chab’s ‘Get My Love’, Hyper-X’s ‘Outhere’. Ending the mix is a hard trance production from the man himself – DJ Hardware.

This is a nice one.
